The MWR air filters are built by hand in the Netherlands with noble materials, starting from a sturdy frame in laser-cut and anodized aluminum and have watertight edges to prevent any dirt particles from entering the cylinders, even infinitesimal.

 Unlike the greater number of air filters, the long-lasting MWR filter media is a hi-tech material consisting of special closed cell sponges, which offer:

• a.) An unequaled flow permeability, which increases the volume of oxygen available to the cylinders,

• b.) An exceptional duration, which allows:

or b.1.) to the Race Teams, to wash and re-oil the MWR air filters up to at least 25 times

or b.2.) to the motorcyclist, whose filter must be washed and oiled at least once a year, to invest in a long-lived filter that offers a service life equal to that of the engine it must protect, what for the pilot translates into cost savings.

The filter media of the MWR air filters is supplied imbued with biodegradable oil, which allows it to absorb even the most microscopic particles of dirt.

The closed cell MWR filter sponge is fireproof, ie in FR class (Fire Retardant) with a remarkable level of resistance to backfires.

There are 4 types for 4 different types of filters:

1. The "PERFORMANCE" type MWR road air filter

is a filter that offers excellent performance combined with a high level of protection and that is never a copy of the original filter because MWR is always looking for solutions to improve performance, protection, durability and ease of installation .

2. The "HE" type MWR air filter, "HIGH-EFFICIENCY", road and track

designed for road use but which proves to be very valid on the track, it is a filter that offers considerable performance advantages, also based on the revolutionary MWR system for the distribution of flows called "AIR SPLITTER" which calms the turbulence of the intake air and distributes it equally oxygen to the cylinders.

3. and 4. The "HE-R" and "WSBK-R" air filters, created for competition on the track

These are two types of air filters developed only for competitions and developed both on the test bench and on the track, this with the active support of the major Teams and their Drivers, champions who use MWR air filters in the Championships of World Supersport, Superstock, Superbike and MotoGP.
