With the cooperation of KHI , MV Agusta and MotoGP teams, they have developed a new style airfilter that increases the filter surface enormously. On the BMW S1000RR the Surface area is increased by 50%. More surface area means less restriction and better protection. The secret in the new style filters is that they use two different kinds of foam materials.
The ultimate filter for powerwith increased filter surface to create as much as possible airflow , build up with two different foam materials to create equal airflow to all four cylinders , filter must be placed with the cone inside the airbox pointed to the inlets.
More & bigger surface means less restriction , a better protection and the performance increase is in this case enormously.
All WSBK filters are handcut handcut and handglewed.
These new style WSBK filters are build with two different kind of foam materials . One part is foam material used for our roadbikes , the rest is the foam material for the full racefilters . The roadmaterial is placed on a conscious place to create the same effect as the splitterplate on our “HE” & “R” filters.
Remapping the ECU or installation of a fuel module is necessary
For the fueling you need to approach the same way as with our "HE" & "R" filters . This means tune each cylinder separate and secondary injectors separate from the main injectors.
